How To Make Nut Milk

If you’re looking for a healthy dairy free, soy free, lactose free milk alternative, nut milks is the way to go. The recipe below shows you how to make raw almond milk, this same recipe can be substituted with other nuts such as cashews, walnuts and brazil nuts.

Almond Milk Recipe

Raw Almond Milk

Homemade Almond Milk

Ingredients
-1 C Raw Almonds (other nuts)
-4 C Pure water

Directions
-Soak almonds for min 8 hours.
-Rinse/Strain Nuts
-Add to blender. Add 4 C of pure water
-Blend for 30 seconds
-Strain liquid through a nut milk bag (paint strainer also works)
-Refrigerate, will last up to 7 days

Optional
-To sweeten add for dates or your favorite sweetener
-Add tsp of Vanilla extract
-Blend for 30 seconds

    Well, here goes. My almonds have been owing overnight. I am pleased that I do not have to throw away the remains of the almonds, too.
